Episode 1: Fogged Up

The Purple Podcast is the newest platform by which the Sewanee Purple strives to be the “student organ” of the University of the South. Listen to Episode 1, “Fogged Up,” now on Spotify.

In the first episode, Opinions Editor Max Saltman (C’21) and Arts & Entertainment editor MK Saye (C’23) dig into the decision making process at Sewanee between March and now, focusing on the transition to remote learning and returning to campus in the fall. They talk to Eric Hartman, Vice President for Risk Management and Institutional Effectiveness, Provost Nancy Berner, and student leaders.

In the future, the Purple Podcast will continue to do investigative pieces, interviews, and discussions on campus news.
