Letter from the editor

Dear readers,

In my last issue as the Editor-in-chief, I want to thank you for your support and readership during my tenure. I am eternally grateful for everything The Purple has taught me and I will miss this job that allows me to connect with the entire campus community. I joined the paper as a first year, and started as Junior Editor, moved to Arts and Entertainment Editor, Executive Editor, and finally Editor-in-chief.

During my tenure as Arts and Entertainment Editor, I discovered my passion for theater and I am now getting a minor in theater, and I learned a lot from my layout coworkers. I appreciate all of them.

I am very excited to pass the torch to Lizzy Donker (C’ 26). She is intelligent, capable, and will lead The Purple through a next year of excellence. She is always up for a challenge and is dedicated and passionate. I would like to thank Chloe Wright (C’ 27), our soon to be Executive Editor, who takes time and is dedicated at everything they do. I would like to thank Lee Hancock (C’ 81), our faculty advisor, for her support and wisdom, and for walking me through delicate situations. I would especially like to thank Caroline Winslow (C’ 25), who’s been in the layout room with me since sophomore year. I don’t know what this paper would have done without you.

To my fellow senior staff, thank you so much for your hard work and I will miss hanging with you in our office each week!

I hope you all enjoy this last issue and I wish all students good luck on your finals!

Thank you again for this opportunity!

YSR and EQB,

Camille Pfister (C’ 25)

Editor-in-Chief
