Letter From The Editor

Dear readers,

Long time, no talk! I hope everyone had a somewhat restful Spring Break and a good couple of weeks back on the Mountain. In our fourth issue of the semester, we have no shortage of interesting pieces for you to read. We have a highly requested piece on the disparity between sorority and fraternity recruitment, breaking news on Treasurer Doug Williams stepping down and of course, a captivating and intellectual piece ranking frat bathrooms at Sewanee.

So I hope you enjoy this issue. Of course, shoutout to all of the staff and writers who made it possible. And a huge thanks to all of the SGA and OG candidates for sharing their platforms with us so that you all can read them. Best of luck on your campaigns!

We’re over halfway through! As things are picking up in the second half of this semester, I do hope you still take the time to flip through The Sewanee Purple or scroll through it on your phone, either way.

YSR and EQB
