Sewanee Inn coming soon

As the May opening of the remodeled Sewanee Inn approaches, there are many new features and amenities that are not to be missed. The Inn is managed by Charlestowne Hotels and is designed by Earl Swensson Associates, an architectural design firm based in Nashville.

photo by Kimberly WilliamsWith 43 rooms, the Sewanee Inn has multiple views and options available. Sewanee Inn is a non-smoking establishment and guests must be at least 21 years old to check-in. They may choose from a variety of rooms: a traditional king and two queen beds are available, or rooms with an attached patio that look on to either University Avenue or the newly added 9-hole golf course. The Inn also offers suites. Guests may enjoy the use of a fitness center, hiking trails, complimentary bikes. The Lounge offers a full service bar and small meals. Breakfast and brunch are served in the restaurant. Brunch is served every Sunday and includes a full buffet and omelet station. Local jazz musicians play and guests are encouraged to try their signature Bloody Mary Bar.

Opening weekend is already fully booked, so plan ahead when making reservations. The Sewanee Inn’s busiest weekends will include Parents’ Weekend, Homecoming, the 4th of July, and Graduation.
