13 students Phi Beta Kappa initiates honored February 25

Congratulations to Sewanee’s newest members of the most prestigious academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. Founded in 1776 at the college of William and Mary, Phi Beta Kappa recognizes exceptional scholarship. The following seniors were initiated on February 25: Thaddeus Martin Barney, Mary Elizabeth Beilharz, Abigail Elise Bray, Amy Elizabeth Buice, Philip Robert Gould, Rebecca Marie Hannigan, Lauren Macaulay Lyons, Cid Carlo Oculam, Margaret Emerson Oliver, Jeffrey Rudolph Prado, Metairie, Louisiana, Eric Hamilton Roddy, Sabol Payne Rodgers, and Litton Flowerree Whitaker.
