Dear Readers,
Welcome back to the mountain! I hope it’s been a cold but good first couple of weeks. This is what I hope will be an exciting first issue back. We have a Q&A with Vice-Chancellor Pearigen, a menu review of Sewanee’s new restaurant Judith, and a compelling piece on the grades of Greek-affiliated students. And most importantly, an article on the presiding bishops’ high-stakes visit to Sewanee.
A huge thanks to my predecessor Camille Pfister (C ‘25) who was an amazing mentor and has made this transition so much easier. I’m excited and honored to follow in her footsteps as editor-in-chief this year. Our staff put a lot of work into this issue, so here’s a special thanks to all of the amazing staff and writers who have made this issue possible.
