Dear Readers,
Welcome back to the mountain! I hope everyone has had a good first couple of weeks of classes. I am excited to share with you all our first issue of the semester. In this issue, we have an interview with Sewanee’s new Chief Financial Officer, a letter from the Honor Council Chair, and an engaging piece on AI’s role at Sewanee. And, of course, it wouldn’t be our first issue of the semester without a Q&A with Vice-Chancellor Rob Pearigen. You’ll want to read this one!
I’d like to thank all the dedicated staff and writers of the Purple who have made this issue possible. And a warm welcome to all of our new staff that have joined us this semester – there is surely going to be no shortage of interesting articles to read this semester with them on board!
