Dear reader,
I am writing this while drinking a McClurg hot chocolate and gazing at All Saints’. My lips are chapped, my hands are dry and I’m wearing a very large coat. La-di-da-di-da-di-dum, ‘tis autumn.
What do we have for you in this issue? Staff Writer Nikol Hristova covered local sorority ATZ going dormant after 39 years of activity. And A&E Editor Cate Traywick (C ‘29) looked at my new favorite campus event earlier this month: the fraternity beauty pageant Big Man on Campus.
But there’s one article I advise everyone to read: the Executive Staff’s “Sewanee students’ activism brings University action” in the news column. This may be one of our most important articles in recent memory.
Hope everyone has had a lovely fall break!
YSR & EQB,
