Residential Life selected the four rising seniors who will serve as head staff for the 2014-2015 academic year on February 7. The event was stressful for the many applicants, who crowded in to the SPO at noon to receive their fate.
Head proctors lead the rest of dorm staff, each with a specific focus. Taylor Baird (C’15) is Head Proctor. Jimmy Szewczyk (C’15), is Head Proctor of First Year Programs. Luis Tinoco (C’15) is Head Proctor for Second Year Programs. Paniz Rezaeerod (C’15) is Head Proctor for Programming and Community Engagement.
Baird stated, “I’m really excited about the team. I think we’re all unique and we’ll bring a lot of different perspectives to Res. Life.” Head Staff will work with the outgoing Head Staff and Res. Life to choose new Proctors and Assistants Proctors. Szewczyk will work in Sewanee over the summer dealing with freshman concerns and roommate matching because he is in charge of First Year Programs.
