The Sewanee Tigers tennis men faced Berry, a SAA rival, on April 12 and won their match 8-1. They now have an eight-match winning streak. The Tigers won two out of the three doubles points. The No. 1 doubles team, Alex Cooper (C’15 ) and Eric Roddy (C’16), fought for an 8-6 win, while the No. 3 team beat Berry with an 8-0 score. Every singles player won his match. The women’s tennis team played Berry on the same day, with an 8-1 win. They have won 14 matches and lost 4, and have a perfect 5-0 in the SAA play. They triumphed in doubles, with partners Bronte Goodhue (C’15) and Lindsey Liles (C’16), and Clementina Davila (C’18) and Kate Johnston (C’16) claiming wins at No. 1 and No. 2. Liles then went on to win the No. 1 spot in singles, with Maggie Crumbliss (C’18) and Christina Merchant (C’18) earning No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
