State of Sewanee: a word from the Queen

My name is Huguette Ciza, class of 2017, and I am an Economics major and am double minoring in Business and French. Being a Sewanee student is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. My experience here on the mountain has been marvelous. Yesterday, November 5, I was crowned as Sewanee’s 2016 Homecoming Queen. It is truly an honor and a blessing that I was given this opportunity to participate this year.

I would like to give a big, enormous, humongous, gigantic “thank you” to the Gamma Sigma Phi fraternity for nominating me and choosing me to represent them for this year’s homecoming court. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Gamma brothers! I am very humbled that I could bring the crown home on your behalf.
